Miranda Devine’s assertion that Mel Gibson’s tirades are the result of his alcohoism and bipolar disorder does a disservice to bipolar sufferers. His rants are well documented but rather indicate that he is more likely to suffer from a narcissistic personality disorder. This condition is common in Hollywood and among the upper echelons of society, generally.
